Interesting link about the origins of Boxing Day. If I'm not wrong, Singapore is in the Commonwealth. So why aren't we given a day off for this?!

singapore is indeed one of the members of the commonwealth country. but i suppose it's because we are already given a day off for christmas and thus we are not spared on boxing day. too many holidays aren't lucrative for foreign investors s'pore is trying to attract.
