April's Fool joke

OK, enough of the April Fool's joke.

We are NOT expecting twins, just one baby. And we're hoping that the new kid will be a daughter. Faith will have a sparring partner.

The nice thing is that No. 2's EDD is close to Faith's birthday, 5 November c.f 10 November. So in the usual tradition, I've embedded a countdown script along the sidebar to track the progress.

And according to Wifey, she's got a more supportive gynaecologist obstetrician this time.

One more thing, technically, when a pregnant lady seeks consultation, it's appropriate to refer to the specialist as an "obstetrician". However if she goes to the same specialist with a female-related, non-pregnancy problem (e.g. menstrual problems) then the term will be "gynaecologist". The specialist qualifications of obstetrics & gynaecology are awarded in tandem. So the puzzling letters you see appearing after your gynae's name, like FRCOG, would usually indicate both qualifications. FRCOG = Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.

Enough of rambling....
